This hands-on role ensures that cabins, lodges, activity areas, pool, wooded environments, and pastures are safe, well-maintained, and ready for campers, staff, and volunteers.
What Youll Do
Perform maintenance and repair tasks including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, pool care, and grounds keeping.
Operate hand tools, power tools, and potentially heavy equipment safely.
Assist with camp opening/closing projects and preventative maintenance schedules.
Keep accurate records of inventory, maintenance, and repairs.
Monitor safety, gates, and signage; report issues to the Property and Facilities Specialist.
What Were Looking For
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Experience in property, building, and outdoor facility maintenance.
Mechanical skills and experience with hand/power tools; willingness to learn heavy equipment and pool care.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
Must be 21 or older with a valid, unencumbered drivers license and proof of insurance.
Availability for occasional evenings, weekends, or overtime.
Membership in Girl Scouts required (at hire).
Someone who enjoys working in the great outdoors with constant exposure to year-round, outdoor weather conditions including low to high temperatures, humidity, wind, precipitation, and who has the ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
