Ready for a summer that’s active, meaningful, and full of adventure? As a Camp Aquatics Lifeguard, you’ll help create safe and exciting waterfront experiences for campers while building leadership skills that last long after summer ends.
Whether you’re supervising swim activities, supporting campers as they gain confidence in the water, or helping lead special events, you’ll play an important role in shaping an unforgettable camp season.
This is more than a summer job — it’s an opportunity to mentor youth, work alongside an energetic team, and spend your days outdoors doing work that matters.
Your Role at Camp
You’ll partner with the Waterfront Director and camp leadership team to help operate a fun, safe, and engaging aquatic program.
Key Responsibilities
✔ Supervise campers during waterfront and swim activities
✔ Ensure all aquatic safety procedures are followed
✔ Support swim lessons and camper skill progression
✔ Respond quickly and confidently during emergencies
✔ Assist with waterfront games, events, and daily programming
✔ Maintain equipment and waterfront cleanliness
✔ Complete activity logs and safety documentation
✔ Participate in staff training and team development
✔ Encourage a positive, inclusive, camper-focused environment
✔ Ensure all aquatic safety procedures are followed

✅ What We’re Looking For
Qualifications
✔ Must be at least 17 years old
✔ Current American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification (Waterfront required)
✔ Current CPR for the Professional Rescuer Certification
✔ High school student, diploma, or GED equivalent
✔ Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
✔ Passion for mentoring and working with youth

Physical Requirements
