The Seasonal Recruitment Administrative Coordinator provides administrative and logistical support for council-wide membership recruitment efforts during the peak recruitment season. This role ensures recruitment materials, events, and communications are organized, accurate, and executed consistently across geographic regions.
This is a seasonal, part-time position focused on operational support, working mid March through October.
- Create, format, and distribute recruitment materials, including flyers and promotional assets
- Coordinate printing and ensure timely delivery of materials to regional teams
- Schedule and secure venues for recruitment events, school nights, and community outreach activities
- Maintain recruitment calendars and track event logistics across regions
- Prepare and organize materials and supplies for recruitment events
- Maintain accurate records and data in council systems
- Support communication and coordination across regional teams
- Provide timely customer service to volunteers, schools, and community partners
- Provide general administrative support related to membership recruitment initiatives
- Assist with recruitment events and special initiatives as assigned
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Experience in administrative support, event logistics, or operations preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced seasonal environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and document formatting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams
- Commitment to the Girl Scouts mission and values
WORK ENVIRONMENT & SCHEDULE
- Primarily office-based with occasional local travel as needed
- Ability to work flexible hours during peak recruitment periods, including evenings and weekends
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
