GFA is seeking a skilled Hi-lo Driver to join our dynamic warehouse team. Responsibilities
- Operate hi-lo equipment safely and efficiently to move products within the warehouse.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Utilize RF scanners for tracking inventory and order picking processes.
- Assist with order picking and packing as needed, ensuring accuracy in fulfillment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to OSHA safety standards.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and address any operational challenges.
- Perform heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to avoid injury.
- Participate in regular training sessions on warehouse management systems and safety protocols.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Hi-lo Driver or similar role within a warehouse environment.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and order picking processes.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to operate cherry pickers and other material handling equipment effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) regularly throughout the shift.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Previous experience in warehouse supervision or management is a plus but not required.
