Interior Designer

Job Summary:

Giri Hotel Management is seeking an Interior Designer with a passion for hospitality design, a strong foundation in FF&E selection, and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple hotel brands and styles. This role is based in Massachusetts and requires travel throughout New England to support renovations, refresh projects, new hotel developments, and installation oversight.

The ideal candidate enjoys variety, can shift between boutique aesthetics and branded standards, and feels confident taking ownership of design deliverables.

Work Performed:

• Assist in the design and development of interiors for both independent boutique hotels and branded hotel properties.
• Prepare comprehensive FF&E packages, including specifications, budgets, and vendor coordination.
• Develop space plans, elevations, and design drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, or similar software.
• Produce mood boards, concept presentations, and renderings to communicate design intent.
• Conduct site visits for field verification, construction coordination, and installation management.
• Ensure all design work aligns with brand standards for branded hotels (e.g., Hilton, Marriott, Choice) while supporting unique concepts for boutique properties.
• Research materials, furnishings, and finishes suited for hospitality use, durability, and budget.
• Collaborate with internal teams including operations, development, and project management.
• Work with architects, contractors, and vendors to support the full project lifecycle.
• Manage multiple project timelines simultaneously.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• 4–6 years of professional interior design experience; hospitality design strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with hotel brand standards (Hilton, Marriott, IHG, Choice, etc.) is a plus.
• Strong FF&E knowledge and space planning skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and rendering software.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Comfortable traveling throughout New England for site visits (valid driver’s license required).
• Ability to thrive in a small but fast-moving design team within a growing hotel company.

Compensation

$75,000 - $90,000 Annually
