We are seeking a friendly, customer service focused Breakfast Attendant to join our team at Sebasco Harbor Resort and Golf Club. This is a Part Time (May to October) position located in Phippsburg, Maine. This role requires individuals who are detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to upholding our high standards of guest satisfaction, cleanliness, and service.
Work Performed
A breakfast attendant is the first person many guests will see in the morning as they wake up to start their important day. You will set up the breakfast buffet and the coffee station in the hotel.
- Stock/restock breakfast buffet
- Greet guests and start their morning off on the right foot
- Clear, clean and sanitize tables
- Follow proper food safety guidelines
- Help guests with any special requests/allergy information
- Keep workstations and equipment clean, organized, and in good working order
- Perform any other job-related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Possess good communication and organizational skills
- High school education or equivalent experience
- Lifting up to 50 lbs. limited/Pushing up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to work independently
- Maintains a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times
- Ability to work weekends and holidays
- Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language
- Hours required: Part Time [20-32 Hrs. per week] - AM , Must be flexible with Weekends; Holidays
Additional Preferred Skills/Qualities
- Previous customer facing experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Second language is a plus
Compensation
$15 Hourly
