NAOS Hellenic Cuisine, Giorgios Hospitality Group's fine dining Greek concept in Cary is looking for Front of House support staff to join our growing team!
We are seeking candidates who are hardworking, punctual, dependable, and a team player. The right candidate must have a passion for service, take pride in their work, have a high attention for detail, and the ability to multi-task. Applicants must be proficient in English.
Responsibilities:
- Assist service team to remove tableware between courses and provide tableware for next course, as needed
- Respond appropriately to guest requests. Communicate guest requests to the front waiter as needed
- Communicate with front waiter and host team to ensure efficient seating, table utilization, and customer service
- Assist front waiter as needed with food delivery, especially with large parties and during peak periods
- Describe and properly place food items in front of guests
- Clear tables after guests
- Take soiled table ware to dish pit and unload, sort and stack silverware, dishes, glassware, etc. in designated areas in the soiled dish drop off area
- Polish and restock glassware/silverware evenly across all service stations
- Assist service team to promptly clean table tops & chairs, check floor and clean as required, and reset and arrange tabletop
- Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor
Requirements
- Previous work experience in a full-service restaurant (Recommended)
- Understanding of restaurant etiquette
- Demonstrable customer-service skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to monitor the entire dining and bar area
- Good physical condition to walk and stand during an entire shift
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
