Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Electro Mechanical Technician to join our innovative manufacturing team. Duties
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on manufacturing equipment, including PCB (Printed Circuit Board) assemblies and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) systems.
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on electro-mechanical machinery to minimize downtime.
- Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and IPC 610 standards for electronic assemblies.
- Solder surface mount technology (SMT) components onto PCBs using hand tools, soldering stations, and power tools while adhering to IPC 610 standards.
- Assemble mechanical components using hand tools, machining equipment, calipers, and electrical wiring techniques.
- Use electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters to verify circuit integrity and troubleshoot electrical faults effectively.
- Maintain accurate documentation of repairs, modifications, and maintenance activities; ensure compliance with safety protocols.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with PCB assembly, soldering (including SMT), and electronic schematics interpretation.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in assembly, machining, and the use of hand tools and power tools.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and electrical wiring practices in manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of IPC 610 standards for electronic assemblies and surface mount technology (SMT).
- Ability to read schematics accurately and perform troubleshooting using multimeters such as ohmmeters.
- Experience with electrical wiring, mechanical assembly, and the use of calipers for precise measurements.
- Electrical experience in a manufacturing setting is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance and repairs.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards.
