This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sitework/Civil Estimator located in Branford, CT. The responsibilities include preparing detailed cost estimates for site development and civil construction projects, analyzing project specifications, collaborating with project managers and engineers, and identifying cost-effective solutions. The Sitework/Civil Estimator will also review project bids, maintain subcontractor relationships, and ensure accuracy in all cost estimations and documentation.
- Proficient in construction estimating, cost analysis, and budgeting
- Strong technical skills, including the use of estimating software and digital tools
- Knowledge of construction drawings, materials, and specifications
- Ability to manage and communicate with subcontractors and vendors effectively
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of regulatory requirements and site development processes
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred
- Relevant experience in sitework and civil construction projects
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
