Giordano Construction is growing and currently seeking a Project Engineer. We are seeking a dedicated Project Engineer to assist with scheduling, planning, forecasting, resourcing, and managing technical activities to ensure project accuracy and quality.
Projects will be located throughout Connecticut.
Job Responsibilities:
· Log-in & track Contracts & Purchase Orders
· Log-in, track and review shop drawings, submittals, and RFIs
· Submit, Track, and RFIs as required
· Set up coordination meetings with subcontractors
· Responsible for obtaining and tracking subcontractor warranty certificates
· Responsible for obtaining and tracking applicable safety documentation
· Print required project documents & drawings for Project Manager and Superintendents
· Work with Project Manager to upload new documents into Procore Software
· Attend job-site meetings, on-site subcontractor meetings, or attending mandatory pre-bid conferences (taking pictures) as required
Job Requirements:
· 2 years of related career experience
· Bachelor's degree in applicable discipline
· Possessing core values: Passion, Hard Work, Integrity, and Professionalism
· Excellent communication skills
· Finite attention to detail
· Computer Literate
· Blueprint Reading
· Proficient in Microsoft Office
· Ability to work independently and organize your own workflow
· Ability to work under the pressure of deadlines

· Knowledge of Procore Software
· OSHA 10, 30, and/or Hazwoper 40
