Duties
- Thoroughly wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools to uphold hygiene standards.
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as organizing ingredients and supporting cooks during busy service times.
- Support bussing duties by clearing tables promptly and ensuring dining areas remain tidy and inviting.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, floors, trash disposal areas, and dishwashing stations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Help with catering and banquet setups by providing clean dishware and assisting in food handling when needed.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service hours and special events.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
