Job Overview
This part-time Market Research Assistant position supports the Data Analyst in completing industry survey research, data collection and preliminary analysis for the U.S. ginseng industry.
The role provides professional research assistance, ensures the smooth progress of industry research, data sorting and market tracking work, and assists in promoting the association’s anti-counterfeiting, brand building and member service projects.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist the Data Analyst in designing, distributing, collecting and sorting industry survey questionnaires, and complete preliminary review of survey data.
- Conduct data entry, initial cleaning, classification and simple verification of research data to ensure data standardization.
- Collect and organize industry literature, policy documents, and market price information and ginseng industry related materials.
- Support the preparation of research reports, assist in making basic data charts and finishing document materials.
- Assist in completing member demand research, industry promotion and other related auxiliary work assigned by the Data Analyst.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Currently pursuing or holding a bachelor’s degree in Market Research, Statistics, Psychology, Public Administration, Business or related fields.
- Basic data sorting and document processing skills, proficient in Office software (Excel, Word).
- Careful, responsible, with good logical thinking and information sorting ability.
- Basic English & Mandarin communication and document reading skills, able to complete data entry and information sorting accurately.
- Relevant market research or data assistant experience is preferred.
- Able to work part-time stably, with good teamwork and execution ability.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Salary : $16 - $22
