PBUSA is a growing food company specializing in shelf-stable Italian stuffed pasta products (no refrigeration required). We are expanding across retail, distributor, and foodservice channels in the U.S.
Our objective is to build a modern commercial system combining sales execution, ecommerce, and data-driven growth.
Role Overview
We are hiring two Growth & Business Development Associates to support expansion across B2B and ecommerce channels.
This role is structured in two phases:
- Phase 1: Build and activate the commercial pipeline
- Phase 2: Transition into ecommerce and growth execution
Key Responsibilities – Phase 1 (First 90 Days)
- Identify and research decision makers across retailers, distributors, and foodservice companies
- Conduct outreach via email, phone, and LinkedIn
- Coordinate meetings, sample shipments, and follow-ups
- Maintain a structured pipeline using CRM tools
- Own the end-to-end execution of supplier onboarding processes from submission to approval
- Navigate and complete supplier onboarding platforms across retailer, distributor, and foodservice systems
- Manage and submit accurate product, pricing, logistics, and company data in portals such as RangeMe
- Track onboarding progress and follow up until completion
- Support the sales manager by delivering qualified and organized opportunities
Key Responsibilities – Phase 2 (Ecommerce & Growth)
- Support product launch and growth on Amazon and DTC channels
- Optimize product listings (titles, descriptions, keywords, images)
- Assist in managing digital campaigns (Meta / Google)
- Analyze performance by SKU, channel, and campaign
- Identify opportunities to improve conversion, pricing, and product performance
Operational Execution, Time Management & Prioritization (CRITICAL)
- Ability to manage multiple accounts, deadlines, and workflows simultaneously
- Strong prioritization skills: ability to identify high-impact activities and focus accordingly
- Ability to make decisions independently on what tasks should be executed first
- Proven discipline in follow-up and task completion
- Ability to operate under targets, KPIs, and performance expectations
- Strong ownership mindset: ability to take tasks from start to completion without supervision
Candidate Profile
- 2–4 years of experience in business development, sales, ecommerce, or similar roles
- Strong organizational, execution, and follow-up skills
- Comfortable using Excel, CRM systems, and digital tools
- High level of discipline, accountability, and results orientation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, execution-driven environment
Languages
- English required
- Spanish or Italian is a plus
Compensation
- Base salary: $55,000 – $65,000
- Performance-based bonus
