Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to foster a welcoming environment.
- Assist shoppers in selecting handmade crafts by offering detailed product information and demonstrating items when appropriate.
- Conduct product demos to showcase craftsmanship, quality, and versatility of our handmade items.
- Manage sales transactions efficiently using POS (Point of Sale) systems, ensuring accurate cash handling and receipt processing.
- Upsell related products and accessories to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
- Maintain attractive merchandising displays by organizing stock, restocking shelves, and ensuring products are presented appealingly.
- Handle stock management tasks such as stocking shelves, organizing inventory, and assisting with inventory counts.
- Wrapping flower bouquet
Requirements
- Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in environments involving customer interaction and product demonstrations.
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic retail math to ensure accurate transactions.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers confidently; bilingual abilities are a plus.
- Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership qualities to assist in team coordination when needed.
- Knowledge of grocery store operations or experience in grocery retail is advantageous but not required.
- Excellent phone etiquette for handling inquiries professionally over the phone or in person.
