About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and systems-oriented Property Management Operations Project Manager to support the continued growth and operational efficiency of our property management platform. This role focuses on maintaining and improving core property management systems while leading operational projects that streamline processes, eliminate inefficiencies, and ensure successful implementation of new initiatives across the organization. The ideal candidate combines strong project management capabilities with technical and systems aptitude, enabling them to effectively manage system updates, coordinate cross-department initiatives, and oversee operational changes that enhance performance within the property management function. This position provides a unique opportunity to shape the operational backbone of our property management platform by driving improvements in systems, processes, and project execution that support the company’s continued growth.
Responsibilities
System Management & Optimization
- Oversee maintenance, configuration, and updates of property management systems.
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and eliminate redundant or inefficient processes.
- Ensure systems are operating effectively to support property management operations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for system improvements and operational enhancements.
Project Management
- Lead cross-functional projects related to operational improvements, new technology implementations, and system upgrades.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and milestones to ensure successful execution.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, communicate progress, and ensure smooth implementation of initiatives.
- Monitor project outcomes and ensure adoption across relevant teams.
New System Implementation
- Manage the evaluation, selection, and implementation of new operational systems or tools.
- Coordinate testing, training, and rollout strategies.
- Ensure alignment between system capabilities and operational needs.
Transaction Process Leadership
- Spearhead and champion the transaction process for new property onboarding and property dispositions.
- Coordinate with acquisitions, accounting, asset management, and operations teams to ensure seamless transitions.
- Develop and refine standardized onboarding and disposition processes.
Cross-Department Collaboration
- Act as a liaison between property management, IT, accounting, asset management, and other internal teams.
- Ensure operational initiatives are effectively implemented and integrated into day-to-day processes.
- Provide clear communication and reporting on project progress and system initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Strong project management skills with experience managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and analytical abilities.
- Ability to drive process improvements and manage change across teams.
- Experience working with property management systems or real estate operations platforms.
- Background in property management, real estate operations, preferred.
- Experience with process improvement or operational efficiency initiatives.
