We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cabinet Punch Technician / Cabinet Installer (Punch Work) to join our dynamic construction team. Duties
- Perform punch work on cabinets, ensuring all surfaces, hardware, and finishes meet project specifications and quality standards
- Install cabinets, fixtures, doors, and related hardware accurately according to blueprints, schematics, and project plans
- Conduct site inspections to identify areas requiring touch-up or correction during the finishing phase
- Use hand tools and power tools to assemble, adjust, and secure cabinetry components efficiently
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise installation
- Collaborate with carpenters, project managers, and other trades to coordinate installation schedules and resolve on-site issues
Skills
- Strong knowledge of cabinetry installation techniques including door hanging, fixture installation, and finishing work
- Proficiency with hand tools such as screwdrivers, hammers, chisels, levels, and measuring tapes; experience with power tools like drills and saws
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and heavy lifting procedures
- Knowledge of various materials including woodwork, stucco, siding, rebar installation, concrete forming, plastering and flooring installation
- Skills in fabrication processes such as CNC machining or metal fabrication are a plus
- Experience in restoration industry projects including mold remediation or water damage restoration is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during installation tasks
- Basic electrical experience or plumbing knowledge can be beneficial for integrated project coordination
