We are currently hiring Part-Time Medication Technicians (CNA II Required) to support our Assisted Living community.

Schedule & Perks:

✔ Part-Time: 8–24 hours per week
✔ All shifts available: 

• Day Shift: 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM

• Evening Shift: 2:45 PM – 11:15 PM

• Night Shift: 10:45 PM – 7:15 AM

✔ Alternating weekends required
✔ Shift differential for night and weekend shifts
✔ Flexible scheduling across multiple shifts
✔ Opportunity to build consistent hours based on availability

What You’ll Do:

As a Med Tech/ CNA II, you will provide compassionate hands-on care while assisting with safe medication administration under the supervision of licensed nursing staff:

• Safely prepare, administer, and document medications

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, dressing, feeding, toileting, mobility)

• Obtain and document vital signs

• Monitor residents and report changes in condition to nursing staff

• Support hydration, nutrition, and resident comfort needs

• Encourage participation in activities and restorative programs

• Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary work areas and follow infection control procedures

• Accurately document care and medication administration

• Attend required in-service training and education sessions

• Perform other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED required. 
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain prior to employment.
• Current certification as Medication Technician in the state of Maryland.
• Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant-II in the state of Maryland.
• Minimum two years’ experience as Medication Technician; geriatric experience preferred.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic. Ability to document care given.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communications skills.
• Computer literacy.
• Must have completed or be willing to complete educational requirements imposed by State regulations within the specified time-frame.
• Must present self in a professional manner, display genuine concern for elderly and tact in dealing with others.
