Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and laboratory interpretation to establish accurate diagnoses.
• Assist in medical procedures such as suturing, injection administration, and sterile technique implementation while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA regulations.
• Utilize Epic for documentation, data collection, and medical records management.
• Perform triage in an outpatient settings to prioritize patient needs efficiently.
• Support diagnostic evaluations through laboratory testing, radiology review, and clinical research initiatives.
• Our office specializes in prevention and health optimization with an established and well-cared-for patient population.

Qualifications

• Valid Physician Assistant license with current certification; 5 years experience working within outpatient clinic settings preferred.
• Proficiency in Epic; familiarity with ICD-10 coding and CPT coding for billing purposes.
• Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pharmacology, and medical terminology; capable of performing comprehensive physical examinations.
• Experience with reading EKG, spirometry, CLIA waived labs such as urinalysis; testosterone injection management, simple suture ability, simple skin biopsy ability .
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments such as outpatient clinics; excellent patient assessment skills required.
• Commitment to maintaining HIPAA compliance and infection control standards; ability to manage data securely using various EMR platforms.
