We're Hiring: Multi-Head Embroidery Machine Operator
Location: Hartford, CT | Schedule: Mon–Thurs, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM

At GimaSport, we’ve been in the embroidery and screen printing business for nearly 30 years. We’re a small, hardworking team that takes pride in what we do — producing quality work for loyal customers, treating each other with respect, and creating a workplace that feels steady and dependable.

We’re currently looking for someone with real embroidery machine experience running multi-head embroidery machines. If you know your way around setting up, threading, hooping, and running jobs on machines like Barudan or Tajima, we want to hear from you. You'll be a key part of our production floor making sure garments come off the machine clean, aligned, and high-quality. Looking for an Embroidery Production Specialist.

Important Note
Applicants must have prior experience in embroidery to be considered for this role.

What the job involves:

• Setting up embroidery jobs and making sure everything’s threaded and hooped correctly
• Running multi-head machines efficiently and fixing minor issues on the fly
• Keeping an eye on each run to catch misalignments
• Doing the finishing work trimming threads, removing backing, and prepping items for shipping
• Helping keep the machines clean and running smoothly
• Working with the rest of the team to stay on top of production goals

What we’re looking for:

• Someone with at least 2–3 years of embroidery machine experience (multi-head required)
• A person who takes pride in the details we value neat, clean work
• Someone comfortable being on their feet and doing hands-on work
• A team player who’s reliable and shows up ready to work
• Familiarity with embroidery file types (DST, EMB) is a big plus
• Bonus points if you’ve worked in small-batch custom shops before
