Dispatcher Job Description
This position is responsible for using the latest in routing software to
establish daily trucking routes and maintain contact with drivers
throughout the day. The successful candidate for this position needs to
be able to adjust to last-minute changes, communicate with customers and
drivers to record details about shipments, arrange pick-up times, and
discuss any special handling issues.
Dispatcher Responsibilities
