Village Store Team Member
Opening Shift | Food Prep, Coffee Service & Customer Service
Pay: $18.00 per hour (depending on experience) plus cash tips
Schedule: Part-time, Monday–Friday, approximately 5:00 AM–9:00 AM, with the option for more hours
Location: Gilsum, NH (must live within 25 minutes and have reliable transportation)

We’re looking for a friendly, dependable, proactive, and hardworking Team Member to help open and work at the Gilsum Village Store on weekdays. Additional hours and responsibilities may be available if it’s a good fit.

This is a hands-on early morning position, starting promptly at 5am. Responsibilities include grinding and brewing coffee, preparing and baking food, stocking the store, setting up the kitchen and food service areas, working the register, making breakfast sandwiches and coffees, assisting customers, and keeping everything clean, stocked, and ready for the day.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Dependable, punctual, and ready to work
- Food service or commercial kitchen experience is preferred
- ServSafe certification is a plus (or willingness to get certified)
- Self-starter who is proactive with projects and completing checklists
- Friendly, welcoming, and comfortable interacting with a wide array of customers
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Positive attitude, a sense of humor, and willingness to jump in wherever needed
- Good attention to detail and pride in keeping things clean and organized
- Someone who enjoys being part of a small, community-focused business
Physical Requirements
- Must be at least 21
- Ability to stand and be on your feet for the duration of the shift
- Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to bend, reach, cook, and safely prepare food
- Ability to work safely around commercial food service equipment
- Ability to start their shift reliably at 5:00 AM
- Must live within 25 minutes of the Gilsum, NH area
