Central Supply- we’re willing to train, come join our team! Position Summary:Assists in organizing, tracking, ordering and providing supplies, personal protective wear and other equipment needed for running the facility Qualifications:Minimum high school diploma or equivalentProficient in using personal computers and other office equipment (copiers, etc.)Positive, professional demeanor – ability to get along with others and respond kindly to requests for supplies, sometimes in urgent or stressful situationsAbility to meet the physical demands of the position (lift/move boxes of up to 50 lbs.)Responsibilities:Establishes Periodic Automatic Replenishment (PAR) with the Director of NursingEnsures purchase orders are accurately completed, signed and submitted timelyReviews supply orders upon delivery, inspects for damaged goods, and verifies against purchase ordersUpdates and maintains data relative to supplies using company software programsDelivers emergency supplies and equipment as needed and directedParticipates in daily and monthly physical inventory and ensures supply room is properly secured and supplies are accounted forCleans equipment as needed and in compliance with infection control proceduresCoordinates and validates outside rental of equipmentEnsures that vendors provide appropriate material safety data sheets (MSDSs) in accordance with current OSHA regulations and facility policies and proceduresBenefits:Competitive payHealth Benefits – Medical, dental, and vision coverages with company paying a substantial portion of costs (voluntary supplemental plan options available)401(k) with discretionary company match annuallyCompany paid Basic Life and disability insurance (Buy up options available)Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick, Holiday)Employee Assistance programTuition Assistance and Profession Enhancement FundsBene-Hub employee sponsored discount programs and more….We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.*Benefits available to full-time employees.Gilroy Healthcare Center is a 24-hour skilled nursing facility located in Gilroy, California.
