Gilpin Ambulance Authority is recruiting for two EMS Captains. Gilpin County is just West of the Denver Metro area. We provide 911 EMS service to the cities of Black Hawk and Central City, and the residents and visitors of Gilpin County. Gilpin Ambulance runs three, 24-hour, ALS ambulances. We have a well-maintained fleet of Type 1, Wheeled Coach Ambulances, carry LifePak 15 monitor/defibrillators, and use Ferno iNX ambulance cots that minimize the need to lift patients.
