JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative to join our sales team. The Sales Development Representative plays a critical role in Gilmore’s growth strategy by building and qualifying a pipeline of new business activities. This position focuses on outbound prospecting, inbound inquiry handling, lead qualification, and appointment setting for the Director of Sales. Success in this role requires disciplined CRM (HubSpot) management, strong research capabilities, and consistent outreach activity.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Support the creation of proposals, generating quotes and post-engagement follow-ups
• Respond to inbound sales inquiries and qualify opportunities for the Director of Sales
• Identify, research, and engage potential prospects through outbound channels, maintaining a steady cadence to meet pipeline goals
• Conduct preliminary research on companies, industries, and key decision-makers to inform personalized outreach strategies and strengthen engagement strategies
• Schedule introductory meetings and ensure a seamless handoff of qualified opportunities to the Director of Sales, including comprehensive documentation of discovery insights
• Qualify inbound and outbound leads using defined criteria and frameworks
• Maintain accurate, timely, and complete data within HubSpot CRM, including contacts, activity logs, deal stages, and communication history
• Build and manage structured pipelines, outreach sequences, and workflows to support consistent prospect engagement and follow-up
• Execute consistent outbound outreach through phone, email, and digital channels to meet defined pipeline activity targets
• Support the Director of Sales with research on target accounts, industry trends, and key stakeholders
• Conduct account and industry research to identify target prospects, key decision-makers, and opportunities for Gilmore
• Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience preferred)
• Prior experience in inside sales, lead generation, or related function is preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage professionally with prospective clients
• Analytical mindset with the ability to conduct research, interpret information, and present findings clearly
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain organized workflows, and meet activity-based performance expectations
• Ability to handle sensitive data with confidentiality and compliance
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with HubSpot CRM software is a plus
