Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role located in Ellijay, GA, for a Community Theater Production Manager. The Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of theater productions, from planning and scheduling rehearsals to coordinating with directors, cast, and crew. Additional responsibilities include managing budgets, securing necessary permits and resources, ensuring safety protocols, and maintaining clear communication between production teams. The manager will also oversee technical aspects like stage design, lighting, and sound, while fostering a supportive and collaborative environment for all team members.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in managing theater productions, including experience with stage management, rehearsal planning, and collaboration with directors and cast.
- Knowledge of technical theater aspects, such as stage design, lighting, and sound systems.
