Job Summary
- Coordinating schedules, maintaining calendars and deadlines;
- Communicating with court staff for scheduling and following up on filings;
- Answer phone calls and take messages;
- Organize, scan, and index legal documents;
- Schedule phone and in-person meetings between clients and attorneys;
- Draft and proofread correspondence, court papers and other legal and non-legal documents with assistance;
- General photocopying, scanning, filing, and faxing;
- Assist attorneys with organization and keeping track of tasks; and
- Assist attorneys and office management with other tasks, as needed.
Qualifications and Skills Requirements
- Exceptional organizational skills;
- Meticulous attention to detail;
- Pleasant demeanor in written and spoken communication with clients and business partners;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Strong proofreading and typing skills;
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Strong time-management skills;
- High principles and a good sense of humor; and
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word.
Job type: 25 hours a week to Full-time Available. Start date negotiable.
