Role Description
This full-time role is for an Alarm Dispatcher, located on-site in Bedford, OH. The Alarm Dispatcher is responsible for monitoring and responding to alarm signals from installed security systems, dispatching appropriate emergency services, maintaining detailed logs, and providing exceptional customer service. This role requires efficient multitasking and communication skills to ensure quick and accurate responses to various incidents.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Schedule: 2nd Shift - Friday thru Tuesday - Hours 4:00 PM - Midnight
- Accurately verify, respond to, and dispatch alarm signals in a timely manner.
- Notify customers of non-emergency signals and provide appropriate guidance.
- Notify emergency responders after dispatch in accordance with established SOPs.
- Process and update customer account data changes as directed.
- Answer, handle, and route incoming calls professionally and efficiently.
- Maintain current knowledge of all signal types and corresponding SOPs.
- Stay informed on organizational goals, departmental objectives, and updates.
- Comply with all company and central station policies, procedures, and standards.
- Consistently meet or exceed minimum departmental quality standards.
- Perform administrative and support tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications include:
