Sheet Metal Installer

 Gillmann Services is recruiting for Sheet Metal Installers for a 4 month project to start ASAP

• Install sheet metal components, ductwork, fittings, and related materials.
• Measure, cut, bend, and fit sheet metal to meet project specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and installation plans.
• Assemble and secure sheet metal using screws, bolts, rivets, and other fasteners.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment safely and accurately.
• Work with other tradespeople and project supervisors to complete installations.
• Inspect installed materials to ensure proper fit, alignment, and quality.
• Follow all job-site safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Assist with material handling and other installation duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous sheet metal installation experience preferred.
• Ability to read measurements, blueprints, and construction drawings.
• Knowledge of sheet metal tools, materials, and installation techniques.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely.
• Ability to lift materials, climb ladders, and work at heights when required.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• OSHA certification is a plus.
