Responsibilities
- Operate dump trucks safely and efficiently on construction sites and public roads.
- Haul dirt, gravel, stone, asphalt, and other materials.
- Load and unload materials as directed by the project supervisor.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Maintain accurate delivery and load records.
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
- Communicate with equipment operators, foremen, and project supervisors.
- Keep the truck clean and report mechanical issues promptly.
- Assist with general site duties when needed.
- Work safely around excavators, loaders, dozers, and other heavy equipment.
- Be willing to work overtime, weekends, or extended hours when required by the project.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) preferred/required depending on truck assignment.
- Clean driving record.
- Previous dump truck or construction experience preferred.
- Ability to safely operate around heavy construction equipment.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Must follow all company safety procedures.
