Dishwasher

Gillmann Services is now hiring dishwashers! Part-time and full-time options, morning and evening shifts available.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment using appropriate cleaning methods to meet health and safety standards
• Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure proper storage of clean items
• Assist with food preparation tasks when needed, including basic ingredient handling and setup
• Support catering and banquet events by providing timely cleaning and replenishment of serving ware
• Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure hygiene compliance
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during busy service periods
• Adhere to safety protocols related to chemical use and equipment operation
• Keep work areas organized and report any maintenance issues promptly
• Other duties as required

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, hotel, or catering environments is preferred
• Familiarity with dishwashing equipment, cleaning supplies, and sanitation standards
• Basic knowledge of food handling and safety regulations
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude.
• Be able to lift and handle materials up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to pass a drug and background screening
• Reliable transportation
