Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a CDL A Truck Driver located in Olympia, WA. The CDL A Truck Driver will be responsible for the safe operation of commercial vehicles to transport materials and equipment, performing routine truck maintenance checks, loading and unloading cargo, and ensuring timely deliveries. Other responsibilities include following all safety regulations, keeping accurate records of deliveries, and collaborating with team members to support project needs.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record.
- Skills in vehicle maintenance, including performing routine inspections and identifying potential mechanical issues.
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and best practices for safe driving.
- Effective time-management and organizational skills to meet delivery schedules.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Experience in loading and unloading materials and equipment is a plus.
- Physical capability to operate trucks and handle cargo as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
