Job Summary: It is the primary responsibility of the Gilley Girl to create a high energy, fun atmosphere for our guests by performing choreographed line dances on stage as well as other numbers on the bar, serving cocktails and food, selling product from the “beer tubs”, operate bull riding ticket sales and promote drink sales through personalized shots. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and property policies, practices, and procedures.

Essential Job Functions:

• Greet each guest with a smile and a prompt and friendly greeting
• Converse with guests to suggest or receive cocktail orders
• Interact with guests in a pleasant, efficient and professional manner
• Project curated image essential to the entertainment function of the position
• Sell tickets for rides on the bull
• Pour personalized shots during drink promotions
• Provide exceptional service to customers while maintaining high standards of service
• Order and serve food and beverage to customers following restaurant/bar guidelines
• Entertain guests by dancing to themed productions
• Continuously learn new choreographed moves
• Prepare, order and serve cocktails to customers following restaurant/bar guidelines
• Garnish drinks as appropriate
• Ensure the correct glassware/stemware is used according to Beverage Department standards
• Handle monetary transactions (cash, credit cards, and other payment options) in accordance with department policies and procedures
• Pick up dirty glasses from assigned station ensuring optimal maintenance of station, keeping clear of beverage debris
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar and/or workstation to ensure compliance with beverage and health department standards
• Polish all necessary glassware
• Prepare order to replenish stock at bar to pre-determined par levels
• Workstation must be maintained and left stocked in the proper location and cleaned for next shift
• Be able to perform a task that requires standing and/or moving at a fast pace for periods of up to eight hours or longer
• Ensure correct health and sanitation practices are followed
• Check ID's if the guest appears to be under 30
• Follow Alcohol Awareness techniques as needed
• Communicate with Management to keep them informed of all special requests from a guest as well as any potential problems or concerns
• Answer telephone using proper telephone etiquette standards
• Assist new employees with training and answering questions
• Perform all duties as deemed necessary for the success of the department
• Observes all activity within assigned areas offering assistance to slot players, and instruction on machine functions and payouts
• Observes activity and reports anything that is out of the ordinary
• Capable of handling routine customer complaints and incidents and exhibits the appropriate discretion to identify situations that require the attention of management personnel; effort is given to resolve all situations in a manner that maintains positive guest relationships
• Ensure all guests are kept in play by providing friendly and helpful service at all interactions
• Utilizes open body language, politely speaks with and assists guests as needed
• Assists in maintaining a spotless facility by disposing of any cups, glasses or bottles left by guests
• Maintains monetary and paperwork accuracy and efficiency within department/property standards
• Adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies in an ethical manner and encourages others to do the same
• Empowered to resolve guest disputes quickly and efficiently up to a pre-determined amount.  Otherwise, ensuring a manager is notified immediately to resolve the situation.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Audition  required
• Must be 18 years of age or older and have the ability to obtain and retain KRGC Gaming License.
• Must be available to travel within or outside the state as needed
• High volume hotel/restaurant experience preferred
• Must be available for publicity shoots, public appearances, modeling, other advertising, and promotional work as needed
• Must have an excellent upbeat attitude with the ability to interact with people of diverse backgrounds
• Must have basic beverage and beverage serving knowledge
• Must be able to dance as choreographed
• Ability to comprehend and learn new dance routines
• Good athletic physical condition/body strength necessary; must project a slender, toned/fit body image at all times
• Must be comfortable performing in front of large audiences
• Pleasing personality and ability to communicate with customers
• Communicate effectively in English both verbally and written forms
• Professional appearance as outlined in the Gilley’s Team Member Handbook
• Must be able to work both independently and as a member of a team
• Available to work required schedule which may include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
