Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal to maintain cleanliness standards.
- Handle floor scrubbing, buffing, waxing, and refinishing to restore and preserve various flooring surfaces.
- Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, polishers, carpet extractors, and floor scrubbers efficiently and safely.
- Apply floor cleaning chemicals and floor care products correctly to ensure effective results without damaging surfaces.
- Conduct detailed cleaning of restrooms, kitchens, lobbies, hallways, offices, and other designated areas with attention to detail.
- Safely handle chemical agents used for cleaning and floor maintenance while following environmental health guidelines.
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks involving janitorial supplies or equipment to support efficient workflow.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to client requests or concerns related to custodial services.
