Gillette is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Specialist to lead the way in sourcing medical supplies, surgical implants, production materials, and cutting-edge medical equipment. This is your chance to be the go-to expert driving value, innovation, and efficiency across our organization.
This is a hybrid/remote opportunity with expectations to work onsite at our St. Paul, MN location 1–2 times per month at minimum, and additional onsite presence as needed. To be considered, candidates must reside in Minnesota or Wisconsin. Please note that relocation assistance is not available for this position.

Strategic Sourcing & Value Analysis

Develop and implement sourcing strategies for medical products, implants, and equipment.

Perform value analysis on new and existing products, balancing cost, delivery, terms, and quality.

Drive organization-wide product standardization and lead Products & Value Analysis Committees.

Stay ahead of market trends, emerging technologies, and new product innovations.

Contract Negotiation & Management
-
Prepare negotiation plans aligned with internal customer requirements.

Negotiate agreements that reduce costs while meeting Gillette’s performance expectations.

Collaborate with Legal to ensure compliance with contract policies and procedures.

Create RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, and other evaluation tools to award supplier contracts.

Increase utilization of GPO, local affiliate, and Gillette contracts.

Supplier Relationship Management
-
Build and maintain strong partnerships with key suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Conduct vendor business reviews and evaluate supplier performance.

Establish parameters for managing contract terms, timelines, deliverables, and budgets.

Ensure suppliers meet commitments and uphold Gillette’s standards.

Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or related field
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a strategic sourcing position
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Experience in strategic sourcing in the healthcare industry
- Experience with sourcing and contracting in the Information Service/Technology industry
- Knowledge of healthcare sourcing and GPO relationships
- Experience and knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics/Great Plains
- Human relations skills, and the ability to work with all levels of management, including explaining and obtaining cooperation for implementation of cost reduction initiatives
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to function under pressure, conflicting priorities and deadlines
- Advanced knowledge of Excel (e.g. pivot tables, advanced charts/graphs, conditional formatting, data tables, basic programming)
- Understanding of financial analysis
- Analytic problem-solving skills

Salary : $86,257 - $129,396
