What You’ll Need:
- At least 2 years of medical billing experience
- Strong knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding, modifiers, denial management, and payment posting
- Experience with Medi-Cal, Medicare, and commercial insurance claims
- Friendly personality with excellent phone and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
OB/GYN experience and eClinicalWorks (ECW) are a big plus, but not required. If you’re a quick learner who’s open to growing, we’re happy to train you and help you become an expert in this specialty.
What You’ll Do:
- Create and submit clean, accurate claims (electronic and paper) to insurance companies
- Post payments and manage patient accounts
- Send out patient billing statements
- Work denials, follow up on unpaid claims, and resolve billing issues
- Answer billing-related phone calls and help patients with questions
- Keep up with medical coding and billing rules
Schedule & Details:
- Full-time – Monday to Friday
- 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (40 hours/week)
- In-person in Lodi, CA
