SHEFFIELD AFTERSCHOOL SITE COORDINATOR POSITION: Sheffield Afterschool Program Site Coordinator STIPEND: $35 - $40/hour TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: To be determined. The program runs on full school days only from 3:15 6 pm (Additional days prior to school beginning for planning purposes required.)REPORTS TO: School Principal/Superintendent of SchoolsPOSITION DESCRIPTION: The Site Coordinator will work closely with the Sheffield Administration for the daily management of the after school program. Major Responsibilities: 1. Recruiting, hiring, and orienting qualified staff (under the direction of Sheffield Principal), including activity leaders and volunteers.
2. Facilitates ongoing communication amongst staff 3. Plan and run mandatory orientation 4. Provide effective supervision of staff and students 5.
Collaborates with Sheffield Administration to formulate and track progress of all program initiatives and action plans. 6. Implements a program which offers students balanced enrichment offerings to engage in (arts, physical activity, technology, etc). 7.
Works to provide linkages to the school day program through communication with the principal, guidance and teachers to identify and set goals for supporting individual students and to explore curriculum connections. 8. Works with the Principal and Business Office to oversee their budget. Demonstrates effective follow through with budget directives.
9. Works to keep the program in communication with parents and caregivers. 10. Coordinates administrative details according to guidelines set by the District a.

Snack program work with Food Service Director and Sheffield Kitchen Lead i. submit required paperwork in a timely fashion d. Data Collection may be required for state reporting e. Transportation Work with the District Business Office and Kuzmeskus to establish routes 11.
Maintain records and files of programing staffing, students and bussing Qualifications: Educational experience required, teacher licensure is preferred Excellent interpersonal skills Computer literacy including Microsoft Word, Excel and Google Docs Cleared through C.O.R.I. and Fingerprint background checks Physical and Environmental Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, walk, talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to bend, crouch, stretch, and reach. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
