Gilk Services is seeking an experienced Lead Plumber to oversee plumbing installations for new residential and light-commercial construction projects. This hands-on leadership position is responsible for coordinating field activities, supervising plumbing crews, ensuring code-compliant installations, and completing projects safely, efficiently, and according to plans and specifications.
The ideal candidate has strong new-construction plumbing experience, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to lead crews through underground, rough-in, top-out, and finish phases.

Key Responsibilities
- Execute field operations on a daily basis
- Lead, hire, train, and manage plumbing team performance
- Coordinate daily schedules, job assignments, and field operations with coordinator
- Oversee project estimating, planning, and execution
- Monitor job costs, budgets, and overall profitability
- Ensure quality, safety, and code compliance on all jobs
- Manage materials, inventory, and vendor relationships
- Handle customer issues and maintain strong client relationships
- Oversee invoicing, collections, and job financials
- Track team productivity and billable hours
- Support process improvements and operational efficiency
- Handle basic administrative communication and documentation
Required Qualifications
- At least five years of plumbing experience, with significant experience in new residential or light-commercial construction.
- Previous experience leading plumbing crews or serving as a foreman.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, construction methods, and jobsite safety requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, elevations, and plumbing plans.
- Experience with underground, rough-in, top-out, fixture installation, and system testing.
- Ability to plan work, manage priorities, and meet construction schedules.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to provide and properly maintain required hand and power tools.
- Plumbing license or certification as required by applicable state or local regulations.
