What are the responsibilities and job description for the Unique Hybrid Front of House and Kitchen Role! - Experienced and Efficient position at Gilford Village Store?
Business Overview
The Village Store in Gilford is the hub of the local community, with a dependable presence since 1836. We are family owned and operated, and our retail shelves are evidence that we believe in supporting other business owners, artisans, artists, and purveyors. We believe physical presence by owners is important for staff to feel supported and for us to really connect with our community, so we regularly work alongside our team members, but entrust the team to work together and maintain service excellence in our absence as we tend to being parents among other things. We boast having a small but mighty kitchen, pushing out higher volumes of excellent quality food, through our regular and loyal customer base plus our growing catering base, than most realize or think is possible. We pride ourselves in maintaining a work environment that is relaxed and admittedly FUN, and one where we value and demonstrate kindness, respect and healthy communication. We always strive to bring on new team members who live their personal and professional lives with integrity, honesty, and transparency.
Cool Facts! The Village Store in Gilford NH was featured in a Super Bowl commercial this year (https://youtu.be/6vnZ5a3kU54), and was chosen to represent New Hampshire in Google's 2024 Economic Impact Report.
