GilesMcPhail Wealth Management, a full-service financial planning firm in Oxford, MS, seeks a highly organized, people-oriented individual to join our team. As the first point of contact for clients, the Client Support Specialist plays a crucial role in delivering excellent service, building trust, and fostering strong relationships. You will collaborate closely with key Financial Advisors and team members to ensure smooth client experiences and efficient business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet clients with a warm smile and great personality.
- Answer and direct incoming calls; maintain clear communication with clients.
- Schedule appointments and ensure timely follow-ups.
- Assist with new client onboarding and account setup (Traditional, Roth, 529, etc.).
- Process investment check deposits and follow up on client forms.
- Handle service requests, prepare forms, and communicate updates to clients.
- Assist in resolving client issues and document in Client Relationship Manager (Redtail).
- Plan and manage annual client events and assist with marketing efforts that include social media and website updates.
- Participate in weekly team meetings and assist with review summaries.
Qualifications:
- Associate/Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- FINRA Securities license is not required but considered a plus.
- Life and Health insurance license is not required but considered a plus.
- 2 years of administrative experience preferred with the desire to learn.
- Strong professionalism, confidentiality, and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with colleagues and clients.
- Excellent organizational and technology skills.
- Experience with Microsoft software suite.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and make sound decisions.
- Successful completion of FBI fingerprinting and pre-employment drug screening.

Paid Time Off (PTO) Policy:
- Standard PTO: All employees receive two weeks of Paid Time Off (PTO) annually, which can be used for vacation, sick leave, or personal matters.
- Additional PTO After 6 Years: Employees who have been with the company for six years or more will receive three weeks of PTO annually.
Note: GilesMcPhail Wealth Management offers two weeks of PTO after the first 90 days. Unused PTO can roll over on your anniversary date and will be added to your Catastrophic Leave Time (CLT).
Paid Federal Holidays:
GilesMcPhail Wealth Management office hours will be closed in accordance with all NYSE holidays, and also 1 extra day for Thanksgiving and 1 extra day for Christmas.
Flex Time:
- Weekly Flex Time: Employees are granted two hours of flex time per week to accommodate personal appointments and other needs.
- Once a month, the office may close early at 3:00 p.m. on a Friday, all depending on the team's achievements and goals for the month!
