This is a full-time, on-site role for a Fashion Designer located in San Diego, CA. The Fashion Designer will be responsible for creating and developing new fashion design concepts and collections. Day-to-day tasks include sketching designs, selecting textiles, creating prototypes, and fitting clothing to ensure a perfect fit. The Fashion Designer will also collaborate with the production team to oversee the entire design process from concept to final product.
- Skills in Fashion Design and creating unique, trendsetting apparel
- Experience in working with Textiles and knowledge of various fabric types
- Proficiency in Embroidery techniques and integrating them into designs
- Fit evaluation and Fitting skills to ensure clothing designs have a perfect fit
- Excellent creative vision and attention to detail
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field
- Experience in sustainable fashion practices is a plus
- Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous
