I. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform basic maintenance as needed to keep batteries in good working order and ready for use.
- Perform preventive maintenance on tape machines, dock doors and dock plates.
- Assist mechanics with general duties
- Follow up and resolve issues.
- Responsible for assigned PM on equipment.
- Report results of problems / issues to DC Management.
- Gather trash and recycled items from containers.
- Operate Trash Compactor and Baler.
- Clean, maintain and repair all DC tape machines
- Responsible for all safety signs, lift area, eye wash stations and all general DC safety items.
- Must be licensed to operate a lift.
- Employee is responsible for safety that includes following all safety rules and following proper Lock Out Tag Out Procedures.
- Perform other duties assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Read, write, add subtract, multiply and divide – understand implied instructions.
- Regular attendance is required.
- Must have general mechanical aptitude and knowledge of hand tools.
- Must understand battery maintenance and techniques.
- Ability to learn and comprehend distribution/production business is required.
- Must have good communication skills
