What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wait Staff/Server/Set up crew for Events position at Gilbertsville Farmhouse Inc.?
At Gilbertsville Farmhouse, there are designated stations that come with a number of responsibilities.
SUMMARY
Wait staff for events for guests serving meals. This will come with high expectations of being polite, clean and smiling when around staff and guests at all times. Also, looking for people to help with set up and a runner on wedding days for items like parking, lifting, setting up big tables/decor, running vendors to locations as needed in a golf cart.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Serving guests meals based on plan from Event Manager.
- Working with kitchen staff as one group
- Set up and break down of all items from start to finish and all put back away exactly as was found prior to finishing for the night with team
- Being polite and if customer facing will be all in server uniform. Need to have all black pants and shoes. We will provide shirts.
- Being on time and always committing to agreed upon hours with Event Manager
- Having experience in restaurant business or service industry for catering is big plus
- Willing to work long event day hours
Hourly, based on experience and position.
Must have own transportation.
Must have positive and pleasant disposition, and work well under pressure.
