**This is a job posting for any candidate interested in obtaining an in-person Accounting internship nationwide with Gilbane in 2026**
TheAccounting Intern will assist the accounting team with job set up, general ledger entries, month end close processes, reporting, document filing and retrieval and other general accounting tasks.
TheAccounting Intern will assist the accounting team with job set up, general ledger entries, month end close processes, reporting, document filing and retrieval and other general accounting tasks.
The Intern will participate in the corporate general ledger function and learn accounting policies and procedures. The successful candidate will gain basic knowledge of the construction industry, general ledger, and financial reporting. Must be able to seek out additional tasks as time allows, assume additional responsibilities, and develop and maintain positive professional relationships both internally and externally.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
- Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program for the department or team
- Prior exposure to construction industry is a plus
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Strong communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office

Depending on individual role requirements, positions may be located at any U.S. location where Gilbane has an office. Salary to be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience of the applicant, as well as the internal equity and alignment with the team.
The pay ranges from $17.50-$32.00 per hour.
