The Program Manager (PM) is responsible for managing customer programs for the Stellar Blu Satellite terminal and system. In this role, the PM will be responsible for scheduling performance, assessing risk and opportunities for the installation, and resource management. The ideal candidate will have experience with aviation systems, ISP (internet services providers) and complex installations on commercial aircraft.
Preference location: Fort Worth, TX

What You Will Do
- Manage customer programs and represent the company to those customers. Customers will include ISP (Internet service providers) related and been able to develop integrated solutions with them.
- Manage delivery to customer programs
- Lead regular program reviews, PDR's, CDR's and other critical milestones in the program.
- Integrate program aspects with the SBS Engineering and Operations teams and aid with theses teams' activities
- Assists management in developing timely and efficient procedures and processes that accomplish the short- and long-term goals and objectives of the organization. Provides suggestions and recommendations.
- Ensure the team performs to committed schedules, budgets, terms, conditions, and requirements of the programs
- Contributes to, and provides support of, proposal development, strategic planning and budgeting.
- Provides support to cross-functional project teams as well as external customer and vendor team members.
- Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience with Aircraft certification programs (FAA, EASA, TCCA, etc.) - not mandatory
- Previous commercial aviation experience
- Bachelors Degree (BS) in Business, Engineering, or similar - a must
- 5 years or more of experience in similar role
- Program Management experience - a must
- Prior experience working with electrical engineering or mechanical engineering
- Familiarity with aircraft engineering drawings/documentation
- Previous experience with commercial aviation IFEC products/services
- Experience with Agile or similar project planning and development processes
- Strong understanding of aircraft installation functions, procedures, and standards
- Understanding of both Modification and Maintenance functions, procedures, and standards
- Well organized with strong planning and management skills
- Attention to detail
- Quality orientation
- Able to organize multiple projects
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Skilled user of Microsoft Office suite of business software is required: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent communication skills: verbal, written, and presentation skills
