Position Summary: Organizes, monitors, develops, secures and/or facilitates training and in-services for staff to ensure compliance with state training requirements and best practices for Gila River Behavioral Health Services/ Gila River T/RBHA; creates and maintains records of training, prepares various reports, assists with the coordination of registration, travel and accommodations related to training. In addition, this position will be the point person for Nextgen and Topaz training, as well as troubleshooting errors and billing issues within the electronic health record system and will operate as the main contact between Behavioral Health and IT for electronic health record issues.
- Shift Schedule: Days, Mon-Fri
- Location: Sacaton, AZ
Required Qualifications-
- Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Social Work or closely related field; equivalent combination of education and experience; Master’s degree preferred.
- Must have at least 2 years previous experience in tribal or state behavioral health systems; Native American population preferred.
- Experience in training and presentations preferred.
- Experienced with Electronic health records and have Strong technical skills
- Current State of Arizona driver’s license.
