GENERAL PURPOSE:
To provide emergency medical services and to maintain facilities and equipment for maximum efficiency.
Essential Functions:
The following duties and responsibilities of this position may include, but are not limited to, any combination of the following tasks:
- 911 EMS Response
- Maintain facilities, equipment and supplies
- Completion of EMS / Billing reports
- Inspection of apparatus prior to start of shift
- Supplies inventory
- Performs other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or GED. Arizona State Paramedic Certification, (out-of-state certification does not apply) ACLS, PALS, AND Healthcare provider CPR or CPR PRO required. Must have and maintain a valid Arizona Driver's License.
WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
To successfully perform the essential functions of this position the following description represents the typical physical demand and work environment that must be met by an employee.

All applicants must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening and background check. All applicants must pass a 6-month probationary period. Benefits currently in place:
§ Full time positions (minimum 40 hours per week) accrue vacation leave per year as follows:
o Months 0 to days of vacation leave per year (6.67 hours/per month)
o Months 24 to days of vacation leave per year (10 hours/month)
o Months days of vacation leave per year hours/month)
Full-time positions (minimum 40 hours per week) accrue 96 hours of sick leave per year.
Full-time positions (minimum 40 hours per week) and authorized part time positions (minimum 30 hours per week) accrue 88 hours of paid holidays per year. Holidays include New Year's Day, MLK, President's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
