Giggles Grove is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Daycare Director to lead our early childhood education center. In this vital role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure a nurturing environment for children, and coordinate educational activities that promote growth and development. Your leadership will inspire our team of educators and caregivers to deliver exceptional care and learning experiences for children of all ages.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily center operations, including staff scheduling, enrollment, and compliance with licensing regulations
- Lead and motivate a team of teachers and caregivers to deliver high-quality childcare and early childhood education
- Develop engaging curriculum plans tailored to preschool, toddler, and infant care needs that support childhood development milestones
- Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment by implementing health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures
- Foster positive relationships with parents and families through regular communication and updates on children’s progress
- Coordinate staff training on classroom management, behavior management, special education needs, and working with children with disabilities
- Oversee classroom activities to promote social-emotional growth, learning readiness, and inclusive practices
Experience
- Proven experience working with children in childcare settings such as daycare, preschool, or nannying roles
- Strong background in early childhood education principles and childhood development strategies
- Demonstrated classroom management skills with experience supervising or leading educational teams
- Knowledge of special education practices and working with children with disabilities is highly desirable
- Certifications in first aid and CPR are required; additional credentials in childhood education or special education are a plus
- Experience with behavior management techniques and caregiving roles such as babysitting or nannying enhances candidacy
