What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant position at GIGG EXPRESS INC?
Title: Workshop Admin
Shift: Flexibility required for shift changes and must be available to work full-time, weekends and night shift.
Major Responsibilities:
- Assist and support Shop Manager and Coordinators on various projects.
- Assist with the administrative procedures and work in different areas in a busy truck repair shop environment for the supporting roles, ensuring that the work is accomplished in a manner consistent with organizational requirements.
- Assist with daily document updating and control.
- Scan and file all site paperwork.
- Work with Managers and co-ordinate projects and activities.
- Involvement in creating work orders for mechanics.
- Arranging and scheduling repair work with dealerships and making records of warranties
- Participate in team meetings and trainings.
- Communicate and relay information between shop personnel and drivers as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Specific Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an administrative position is required;
- Completion of Degree/Diploma is required
- Highly organized with attention to detail
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
- Able to work well under pressure.
