What You’ll Be Doing (We don’t love the bullet points, but we love the work!)

In this senior Software Engineer role, you'll orchestrate complex operational data flows including data storage, data transport, data management, data security, data compliance, and knowledge store management. Additional tasking shall include working with the mission customer to perform exploratory data analysis on raw data to clean, enrich, transform and convert the raw data into the required formats. You'll get to be responsible for devising methods to tame messy raw inputs, and improve the reliability, compliance, and movement of mission-critical data across systems.Required Skills

• Experience using the Linux CLI and Tools
• Experience writing scripts using Bash/Python
• Experience designing and implementing Java solutions
• Experience with Apache NiFi system administration
• Experience using Apache NiFi canvas to process and distribute data
• Experience creating, managing, and troubleshooting complex operational data flows
• Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)
  

Desired Skills

• Experience with Corporate data flow processes and tools
• Experience with Corporate data security and compliance procedures and policies
• Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and maintain Perl scripts and applications
• Fluent in sarcasm, kindness, and the occasional office banter
