Your Role
As a Structured Cabling Technician, you will help build reliable, scalable infrastructure for commercial environments. Your attention to detail, technical skill, and commitment to high standards ensure every project meets and exceeds client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Cabling Installation & Setup: Install and configure structured cabling for data, voice, and video networks following best-practice installation standards.
- Fiber & Copper Solutions: Terminate and test Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A, coax, and fiber (OM1–OM5, OS1/OS2) while maintaining full compliance with industry requirements.
- Advanced Deployments: Assist with Wi-Fi and DAS installations, data-center buildouts, overhead pathway systems, cabinet/rack organization, and power distribution setups.
- Quality & Compliance: Maintain accurate documentation, testing records, and certifications aligned with GigaSpan standards and industry regulations.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: 2–3 years of structured cabling experience, proficient in fiber and copper installations.
- Certifications: BICSI Technician (or equivalent) strongly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Competent with cabling tools, test equipment, and industry standards; strong attention to detail.
- Safety Mindset: Consistent adherence to workplace safety requirements.
